Ways to Explore Robotics at Home
Parents and students can explore robotics concepts even before joining the team. Here are some starting points.
- Explore block-based coding, then transition to text-based languages used on the robot.
- Practice CAD by designing simple brackets or gussets that could be used on the robot.
- Watch official FTC game reveal videos and talk through scoring strategies.
- Visit local STEM events or other robotics teams for inspiration and mentorship.
